Me, clandestine physician

Illustration : Milan Kundera tells us: the more serious the question, the more humor should be invited !

Like a novel …

In 1974, I am ten years old.

My father is a doctor and heals with phage therapy.

When phages disappear from drugstores, my father starts growing them in the lab he sets up in the old garage next to his office.

I become a doctor and continue the underground phage culture.

We live near a border and explain to patients that phages come from abroad.

An absolute miracle is that we are never worried by the “authorities”.

We have lived in fear.
